Question of the week:  What kinds of social media apps do you think you might use in your library?  If you use some already, what ideas did you get for making better use of them?

We currently use Facebook to post library pictures and activities. We put on events, pictures, quotes and contests. This class reinforced the idea of not linking the library page to a personal page and this is very important! We have a social media policy and this allows us to have a set of guidelines when working with social media. I am also thinking about using Instagram sometime in the future. We do not have a page on Pinterest, but we use the site quite a bit for craft ideas and quotes for our digital frame. It was nice to learn about the other social media options available.
